Update on Sophie our Pyometra emergency surgery. She was not eating and over the weekend she went back to the hospital. She is doing better but not eating enough to get released Dr Berrios got her some roast chicken and she loves it. The care of our vet and vet techs at Margate Animal Hospital are beyond amazing so a big Tks to them 
We still need more funds for the vet bills.

9/20/23 Owner surrender - owner cannot afford Pyometra surgery. Owner will foster and adopt dog back.

Not every dog is available for adoption or need a foster - some are wards of the rescue (usually due to medical reasons, but sometimes behavioral). These dogs will always be supported by DRL. We welcome financial support for these dogs. Here are links to foster and adoption applications for those dogs who need a foster home or adoptive home.
