8/7/24.  Meet Bruce! His fosters describe him as a sweet, docile and affectionate boy with a heart of gold. Bruce is full of energy and loves to play, and enjoys splashing around in water, making him the perfect companion for an active family. Bruce is very smart and eager to please and with the right routine and structure, Bruce will thrive and be the loyal friend you've been searching for.

Bruce does have a tendency to chase cats and small animals. He may get nervous in enclosed, dark spaces at first, but with your patience and reassurance, he'll soon feel safe and secure.
If you're ready to welcome a loving and energetic dog into your home, Bruce is the perfect match for you. Give Bruce the loving home he deserves, and he'll reward you with endless love and companionship.  He walks well on a leash and seems to want to play with other dogs on his walks, but we have not tried him. He may be ok with a submissive female. No cats or small animals. Children unknown but not recommended as we have no history of him with kiks - may be ok with teens.

6/10/24  We welcome Bruce to DRL We believe he is 3yrs old.  We will confirm with our vet next week when he goes for vaccines. We hope for a HW neg so we can schedule his neuter. He will be evaluated. Dogs unknown, Cats unknown - so far very sweet boy that knows some commands.
