Samson is not available for adoption
Update 7/21/22 Sam came from Puerto Rico. When he had his dental treatment the vet found a mass on the back and roof of his mouth. He has throat cancer. He has seen a veterinary onocologist every three months. He takes a medicine called palladia which inhibits the growth of the tumor. He has also shown a grade 3 heart murmur, bladder stones and UTI. He is in a forever foster situation, but could use some financial help with his cancer medicine and special food.

Not every dog is available for adoption or need a foster - some are wards of the rescue (usually due to medical reasons, but sometimes behavioral). These dogs will always be supported by DRL. We welcome financial support for these dogs. Here are links to foster and adoption applications for those dogs who need a foster home or adoptive home.
