12/30/24  SEVERIDE is hoping to find his furever family in 2025.   Severide and his companion KIDD wandered into a Pembroke Pines firehouse lured by the smell of food. He was emaciated and filthy but was happy to hop right in the car and play fetch all the way to the rescue. He is about 6-7 years old, is very friendly, and loves all people, walks nicely on a leash, and would be good with another female or as the only prince of the house. He absolutely loves to play fetch and will put his head on your lap when you're driving. He is a true Velcro Doberman. Cats and kids unknown, so we will not put him in that situation. He still needs to gain some weight before his neuter, but if you are interested in fostering/adopting SEVERIDE, he would be ever so grateful for a comfy spot in your home.

12/12/24 Meet Severide. This sweet boy showed up at a fire station in Pembroke Pines one night when they were cooking on the barbecue. He is so emaciated that we can’t even vaccinate him. His weight is improving with small meals, and soon he will be seeing our vet. We are looking for a local foster so he can heal and get healthy.
